Ibiza Beach: Cala Conte
Always always on our to-do list on every trip to Ibiza is Cala Conte (although FYI some signposts say Cala Compte), located on the west coast of the island - about 15 minutes drive from San Antonio. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery, including sand dunes and rocky cliffs behind the beach, Cala Conte boasts stunning views of the amazing sunset each night - the perfect place to head down later in the afternoon and stay for sundown cocktails - there's an uber cool beach bar called Sunset Ashram that serves a Mediterranean mix that's delicious and cheap n cheerful, its the prefect way to end the day away. The golden sand is perfect for little ones, with gentle, shallow and crystal clear water, while another rockier ledge leads to a sheltered, private cove where the sea is a little deeper, yet amazingly clean and clear. Snorkelling would be great on this beach - just ask Dan!
